Back to reality, 3rd and final stage kicks off !

Hello!!yeeeaaa i´m still alive jeje, and back from my well-deserved holidays. I had soo much fun last week that you can´t imagine!!!!i am going to post a Semana Santa post later i promise :).
Well, my headline says: "3rd period is finally here" which means 5 weeks left and the semester is over!!!! unbelievable :S, but now i am going to write a breaf and concise post.
I am back on bussiness again, i had even forgotten that i had a duty to complete (4 more weeks doing the teaching stuff). Yepp, a new group, new teacher, new expectation, new faces, etc. and as the previous time i had issues =(. First, after contacting my tutor, he made me a petition: "to teach on Tuesday", i agreed of course without knowing that the lesson was not going to be sent to me :(. I panicked as normal, i felt very concerned and left lots of messages on his fb but my tutor never replied until i sent a message saying that i was going to teach on Wednesday since i had no lesson plan!! How was i going to deliver my class without having no clue about the topic?? i was not going to invent and be the clown of the day in front of the new students!
Thankfully, the good news was that a classmate kindly sent me the lesson plan to me :), i felt sooo relieved!!
I must point out that the LP was never sent to me by the tutor :(. Leaving that behind, the class started at 11 am, i was at the Uni 20 min before and the students started to arrive.
This group is quite different, lots of boys and just few girls whilst there should be the opposite, shouldn´t there? jeje. Furthermore, there are a couple of restless boys  that make the class funny sometimes, but not always, i had to raise my voice to them few times. There are some shy guys too. A bit of everything. There was a momment where i messed  up with an activity explanation, i dont know what happened there, i was explaining a drawing i had done in the board for them to understand the topic there is / there are; but somehow i couldn´t give my direcions clearly and i got sooo nervious that i said in spanish : "aay perdon ya me trabe toda ". i felt sooo embarrased but then i said: "it´s alright, Sonita just relax and don´t feel intimidated"
The good thing was that i could redeem myself and explain everything clearly and without rushing, they did well in the activity.
At this point i cannot judge their personalities nor behavior since it was the first class but overall, i think i did a good job. I made my mistakes but the class didn´t suck either. I hope this period´s grades are fair unlike the last one, otherwise, i am going to keep calling to myself "miss misfortune".

cheers

Technology of the future... Fiction becomes a Reality?????

As part of our world , technology is something we can´t overlook. Every year, something new appears but apart from all the benefits it can bring a question comes to my mind..."Are we going to become too dependent?", "are we going to use it to walk over others and gain our own benefits only?", "Is it going to be used wisely?"

There´s a video above about the future technology which offers a different perspective of what the future will be like whitin some years ahead...

cheers

The end of a tough week!!

Hello!!! it´s Monday already!!! i have an exam today :S and big apologies for the lack of posting!! This past week has been seriously one of the most stressful ones of this year!.........And here there is a bit of LAST week´s stuff:  A presentation that was worth the half of my global grade of this second period!! Luckily, i think i could manage to give a good presentation, besides, the topic i was given made me think a lot and i love that!, it was related to the research methods in scienticif, social, educational fields (Correlational Research to be more specific). At the beginning, i found this topic quite confusing and vague but through reading different documents, i realized it was actually a very interesting type of investigation to carry out. Needless to say, the presentation went quite well though i dont know my grade :S...On Wednesday i was suppossed to have an exam too, it was to create a video in movie maker, unfortunately, the videos i had in my memory stick didn´t match the bloody  university computers format!!! OMG it meant i was unable to watch my videos to create my movie maker final video, therefore, i was unable to do anything :(.. My teacher told me to make the video at home and send it.. Phewwwwwwww!!! i was relieved but that feeling was not gonna last that long.
As soon as i finished my video i tried to save it and convert it in AVI or  WMV, format until finally it was going to be uploaded in youtube, but the problem was that this laptop couldnt save my video.
I was in trouble for sure, i tried to convert it with Format Factory but still didnt work, then i looked for a converter online but nothing worked....i was in my breaking point until i phoned my friend Raul and he suggested i should save a zip file where i had to insert my video and everything that i used to make it!! So i did it but when i tried to upload it in hotmail, it said the file was too heavy!!!
I didnt know whether i should cry or laugh of my bad luck... But then Raul told me that i should save the zip file in a website, and then copy the link in my email and send it to the receiver..aaaaaaand thanks God my teacher could see it :)
I had a hard time dealing with technology, i still have a lot to learn.
In another news, i am sooo happy since we celebrated Rocky´s  15th birthday. He has always been my loyal partner and hopefully there are still more years to come for him. God Bless him!!
Yesterday´s swimming session was unbelievable!! i can´t believe i finished it jajajaja i am so happy even though i still feel pain in my arms and legs. I felt sooooo smashed that today i ended up to get up at 10:50 jajajaja i know!! me LAZY BONES  and maybe that´s why i am writting a lot today jejejeje

After this week´s gap we welcome our famous Semana Santa and what does it mean? Beach, holidays, talziguinez, religious celebrations, partying, drinking, etc jejeejeje should be fun!!!

see you

btw I leave you this song!!! i love it and i sing it to myself !! i recommend all my readers to do the same :)
